The Essence Of The Infinite

Now in our work we handle every claim: disease, sin, false appearance—that is brought to us not as a person but as the presentation of the carnal mind in one form or another. And then recognize that since the carnal mind is not ordained of God, it is not power. It has no power, is not a law, has no law and therefore must fall by virtue of its own nothingness. By impersonalizing evil in that way we have found that most of the claims yield quickly and thoroughly because we have not touched a person. We have not tried to change a person or psychoanalyze a person. We have known the truth which is that all evil is a belief in two powers. Continue reading The Essence Of The Infinite

Good Friday: The Crucifixion of Personal Sense

There we see the principle of Good Friday, the principle of the crucifixion of personal sense, a crucifixion of the belief that we of ourselves have qualities of good or quantities of good. But with that crucifixion, comes the resurrection in the realization, “I am nothing, but I can give you all.” Why? Because “the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” Continue reading Good Friday: The Crucifixion of Personal Sense

The “I”within (2/4)

Above all things, from this moment on we must never declare that anything is beyond our ability; we must not accept any sense of limitation; we must not accept the belief that any good is beyond our capacity or reach, or that any heights are too high to attain, for there are no limits to the I which I am after I have made contact with It.  It becomes literally true that I live yet not I; Christ, the infinite, the unlimited, the unbounded, the unfettered lives my life. Contemplative Meditation (3/6)

Infinite Way Letter August 1956 By Joel Goldsmith Part 3 of 6 CONTEMPLATIVE MEDITATION The Middle Path – continued Freedom is a quality enjoyed when we have overcome duality by refusing to entertain any sense of iniquity or destruction, or beliefs in a presence or power apart from God. We are clothed and in our right mind when we are clad with the liberty of the Sons of God. As long as there is a sense of duality in an individual’s consciousness he is subject to the discords of the world, but they will not come nigh the dwelling place … Continue reading Contemplative Meditation (3/6)

Contemplative Meditation (1/6)

Infinite Way Letter August 1956 By Joel Goldsmith Part 1 of 6 CONTEMPLATIVE MEDITATION The Middle Path Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God. Matthew 19:17 The universe of God’s creating is within us. God’s love permeates, enfolds, and upholds this universe and all that is therein. All that exists is of God, and God is the good unto us and unto all creation. This is a spiritual universe, and in it there is nothing good nor evil. Let us make this lesson a meditation, whereby we prepare ourselves to be receptive and … Continue reading Contemplative Meditation (1/6)

Higher Meditation

IW Morsel – Human Mind Cannot Know God cannot be known with the human mind, but if we listen and are still, in that stillness, God reveals Itself. Right where we are God Is. The Nature Of God (5/5)

1959 San Diego Special Class Tape 269 Side 1 The Nature of God By Joel Goldsmith Part 5 of 5 Now, illumination isn’t anything of a material nature or even of an occult nature. Illumination really means light, the receiving of light, and light doesn’t mean light in the physical sense but in the mental. It means understanding, awareness. Therefore, when you are illumined, it means only that you have received the actual experience of knowing God’s presence, knowing God’s grace. There is nothing emotional about it, I can assure you. Those who look for emotional experiences not only miss … Continue reading The Nature Of God (5/5)

The Nature of God (2/5)

1959 San Diego Special Class Tape 269 Side 1 The Nature of God By Joel Goldsmith Part 2 of 5 Probably one of the reasons that our great Herbert Hoover has reached this magnificent age of 85 in full possession of his faculties and at the very height of his mental capacities and in good physical health is due to the fact that all of his life he has felt that it was a demand upon him personally and upon all mankind to help those who at the moment could not help themselves – even when they were enemies. He … Continue reading The Nature of God (2/5)

#11 – Wisdoms of the Infinite Way Prayer is the absence of desire in the recognition of IS. From – Tape 705-1 1955 Johannesburg Closed Class The Inner Meaning By Joel Goldsmith Good Evening! (Response) I have been asked if there is a way in which we can train ourselves to practice the presence of God, some simple way that everyone on the face of the globe could practice. And there is such a way. It is a way that has very, very deep possibilities. And yet it is so simple that it can be taught to a six-year old … Continue reading

It Shall Not Come Nigh Thee (1/5)

Infinite Way Letter 1964 – October Aka – Realization of Oneness By Joel Goldsmith Part 1 of 5 “It Shall Not Come Nigh Thee” If you have studied the preceding chapters carefully, you should be beginning to understand that the universal belief of good and evil operates hypnotically upon every person in the world. Every phase of discord that comes into any person’s experience is a mesmeric influence from which he has not learned to protect himself. What with automobile collisions, sudden storms, and even coconuts falling from the trees, a person who leaves his home in the morning has … Continue reading It Shall Not Come Nigh Thee (1/5)
