God must become to us an experience.
Unless we experience God we will not experience the harmony
that the presence and power of God can bring to us.
We must pass in this month, those who have not already passed,
must pass from the realm of thinking about God
and reading about God to
the actual experience of God
And then must come with it the realization of the nature of prayer Continue reading Introduction to: The Word Within
And so it becomes necessary that we have at least one statement of truth. So now, let us meditate or be completely silent and receptive until we find that another statement of truth reveals itself to us from within. (Pause) Continue reading A New Meditation 2/4
I can never live or move or have my being outside of God for I am in God and God is in me for we are one Continue reading The Nature of Prayer – Power
Christ Consciousness is “this mind …which was also in Christ Jesus,” voicing Itself. You must cultivate It. A few people are born into the world with some measure of Christhood, but everyone may develop and cultivate this awareness to the degree of his fidelity to study and meditation. Your receptivity consists in keeping open the passageway of consciousness so that you may recognize and welcome the Christ as It touches and awakens your Soul into newness of life. In the silence of your being Christ speaks, and you hear: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee…I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” This consciousness of God’s Presence is developed in quietness and stillness, in patience and perseverance; by abstaining from mental power or physical might, so that “my spirit” may function as your life. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Continue reading Grace (2/4): True Humility
Now, the first step has to be your realization that “the Kingdom of God is within you.” There has to be the realization that whatever of spiritual power is to be brought into your experience, has to be brought in through your own being. Continue reading Attainment Of the Contemplative Life (2/5)
There is not far-off God singling you out for special favors, but there is a God of whom one of our great poets wrote: “Speak to Him thou, for He hears, and Spirit with Spirit can meet. Closer is He than breathing, and nearer than hands and feet.” He is closer to you than breathing, and this God within you, this power, this divine love, this infinite wisdom is ready, as you permit it, to perform all you are given to do. Continue reading Attain That Mind (4/4)
Meditation is the avenue of contact. Meditation may be long and in silence, or it may be one moment of the listening ear, or recognition of the inner Self, or Presence. That which imparts Itself to us from the inner consciousness is power—not the thoughts we think, not our statements or beliefs, but That which reveals Itself within, is power—with signs following. That which is revealed in secret (within) is shouted from the housetops (made visibly evident as demonstration). Continue reading Attain That Mind (1/4)
God is Self-maintaining, Self-sustaining. God is the maintaining and sustaining Presence of thy self. You don’t have to go anywhere to find God. God is OMNIPRESENCE and OMNIPOTENCE. Continue reading Meditation: God Alone Is Being
