Impersonalization Illustrated (4/5)

Just think of the Master saying to Lazarus: “Come forth.” In other words, death isn’t a power. “Young maid, I say unto thee: Arise.” Death isn’t a power. He didn’t turn to God and say, “I’ll bring the power of God down to heal you or to raise you.” In fact, at the tomb of Lazarus he even said: “I don’t even have to pray, but for the sake of those around here who still believe in prayer.” But all he said was: “Lazarus, come forth. Blind man, open your eyes.” Not a word about, “I’ll have God open your eyes.” Continue reading Impersonalization Illustrated (4/5)

The Fabric of Being (5/5)

You see the idea of power always suggests one power doing something to another power and that is why you have to get used to the idea of non-power, because we don’t even want a God power to do something for us.We are satisfied that God in His infinite power is already doing all that God is supposed to do; therefore, we never call upon God or God’s power to do anything. Spiritual Consciousness (4/4)

God is infinite divine consciousness; therefore God is your individual consciousness, and this consciousness is the law unto your life.  Don’t try to direct it; be satisfied that it is so and rest in that Word.  God is infinite divine consciousness; therefore God is my consciousness and your consciousness; his consciousness and her consciousness; the consciousness of friend and of foe –universal, divine, omnipresent being, God consciousness – the law unto all creation.  And when you rest in that, It picks you up and transforms the mind, the body, and what is called the outer experience, but which now you learn isn’t outer at all.  It’s all taking place within you.
