The Mystical I
In opening consciousness, a Presence comes in. You may not at first be aware of It as an actual Presence, but eventually you will, because It is a Presence, It is a Spirit. Continue reading The Mystical I

Imagine, if you can, what would be the nature of a God that could watch these last three wars through which we’ve gone and do nothing about it. Just let it go on, aware of it? Heaven forbid that there should be such a God! If God had the power to stop these wars – these bombings, the poverty, the slavery in some parts of the world – and didn’t stop it, God would be fiend, not a God; and if God didn’t have the power to stop it, God certainly wouldn’t be a God – one or the other. If God had the power to stop it and didn’t, it could not be God; if God had the power to stop it, and didn’t, God would be a fiend. Not even a human parent could watch this carnage and permit it to go on if they could stop it. Continue reading Spiritual Consciousness (1/4)
It is for this reason that you must not become hypnotized with appearances. By this I mean if you have an abundance of dollars or investments, do not become hypnotized into believing that because of this abundance of dollars and investments, or business that you have found economic security; because history will show you how many times such things have been wiped away. Continue reading The Thunder Of Silence (3/5)
There we see the principle of Good Friday, the principle of the crucifixion of personal sense, a crucifixion of the belief that we of ourselves have qualities of good or quantities of good. But with that crucifixion, comes the resurrection in the realization, “I am nothing, but I can give you all.” Why? Because “the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” Continue reading Good Friday: The Crucifixion of Personal Sense
Above all things, from this moment on we must never declare that anything is beyond our ability; we must not accept any sense of limitation; we must not accept the belief that any good is beyond our capacity or reach, or that any heights are too high to attain, for there are no limits to the I which I am after I have made contact with It. It becomes literally true that I live yet not I; Christ, the infinite, the unlimited, the unbounded, the unfettered lives my life. Continue reading The “I”within (2/4)
Infinite Way Letter 1965 – January Aka – Beyond Words & Thoughts By Joel Goldsmith Part 4 of 6 Toward the experience Surrender yourself to God If you are looking up to God, wanting God to do something, and trying to get God to come down to you, you are “out to lunch,” just not around where God is. You must become convinced that God does not reward good and God does not punish evil. Whatever reward or punishment comes is from within your own self as is evident from all the good people in the world who … Continue reading Toward the experience (4 of 6)
Infinite Way Letter August 1956 By Joel Goldsmith Part 6 of 6 CONTEMPLATIVE MEDITATION What Is Religion? – continued God is the source of all good. In our spiritual Selfhood, we are the children of God, heirs to all the heavenly riches, and it is God’s pleasure to give us the kingdom. To God we can give nothing, but we can accept the grace that flows so abundantly, and we can open out a way for it to flow to others. We must accept this grace, not only for ourselves, but for all. It is sometimes believed that the health of the … Continue reading Contemplative Meditation (6/6)
Infinite Way Letter August 1956 By Joel Goldsmith Part 3 of 6 CONTEMPLATIVE MEDITATION The Middle Path – continued Freedom is a quality enjoyed when we have overcome duality by refusing to entertain any sense of iniquity or destruction, or beliefs in a presence or power apart from God. We are clothed and in our right mind when we are clad with the liberty of the Sons of God. As long as there is a sense of duality in an individual’s consciousness he is subject to the discords of the world, but they will not come nigh the dwelling place … Continue reading Contemplative Meditation (3/6)
IW Morsel – Potential Everyone on earth has, potentially, the same consciousness as Jesus Christ. It is infinite; it is here; and it is awaiting us. The question is—are we willing to put in the hours of devotion; are we willing to make the effort required to train ourselves to be conscious of the presence of God, instead of seeking some form in which God is to appear. From – Spiritual Healing By Joel Goldsmith P.196 From – 1961 Los Angeles Closed Class The Resurrection Excerpt – Tape 398 Side 1 Joel Goldsmith We do not battle error, we … Continue reading The Resurrection
Infinite Way Letter 1964 – November Aka – Realization of Oneness By Joel Goldsmith Part 1 of 7 Lifting Up the I There is no one mode, means, method, or system which can correctly be called metaphysical or spiritual healing. In fact, there are as many different approaches to spiritual healing as there are in materia medica with its allopathy, homeopathy, osteopathy, chiropractic, and naprapathy, all different forms of materia medica. In the world of metaphysical and spiritual healing, there are the evangelists who, by the grace of God, have received some special state of consciousness through which they heal … Continue reading Lifting up the I (1/7)
