Now in the degree of the expansion of that consciousness, I will demonstrate the degree of deeper spiritual realization in the students. I may or may not demonstrate greater numbers. Numbers is really no testimony of spirituality. The Master seemed only able to demonstrate twelve whom he thought advanced enough to be disciples. He only seemed to demonstrate seventy who were advanced enough to be named apostles. At the most, he had two hundred who could go out and do some preaching. And so you see, the Master did not demonstration his spirituality in numbers, but let us say in depth and degree of awareness in those that he attracted to himself. Without some measure of material sense, you couldn’t have any physical, mental, moral, or financial discord. Which, of course, is pointing the finger at every one of us and saying, “Yes, I’m guilty.” To some extent, every individual on the face of the globe has some measure of material sense, and that material sense externalizes itself in material conditions; sometimes good material conditions, sometimes evil ones, but always material ones. What is it that acts as a deterrent to the harmonious unfoldment of our experience? What is it that prevents our enjoying spiritual well-being? Continue reading A Beholder 4/6
Once we learn to give up the sense of personal possession as indicated by the words I, me, mine, we begin to find the real meaning of spiritual living, universal living, impersonal living, harmonious living. God expresses Its harmony through our being. Every phase of harmony, regardless of its name, is a quality, an activity, and a law of God. When we recognize God as the essence of all good, we become instruments for the expression of a universal sense of good. Continue reading A Beholder 3/6
With patience and practice we develop the consciousness of a beholder, of waiting on the Lord, and this leads us to a miraculous discovery in which we know not only that there is a God, but that It has become the governing factor in our life; It has taken over our experience. Continue reading A Beholder 2/6
Regardless of the nature of our work, there are duties to be performed and obligations to be met each day, but by being a beholder we discover that there is a divine Power which guides and directs us; that “He performeth the thing that is appointed for me.” Continue reading A Beholder 1/6
Practice this presence of God in you. Practice it, morning, noon and night, under any circumstance and every circumstance. And more especially, those that appear to be evil circumstances; pray the prayer of remembrance. Not a prayer of things I need, or want, or should have. But the prayer of remembrance:
Be not afraid, it is I; be still, and know that I within thee am God.
Thank you. Continue reading I Am the Way 3/3
Our prayer now is a continuous inner communion with that Spirit, which we have acknowledged. It is an inner living; living in the realization of this presence. Therefore, there is no need to pray for safety, when I have acknowledged that there is the Spirit within me, that says, “Fear not, and be not afraid.” Continue reading I Am the Way 2/3
Now, until one has found an inner peace, an inner quiet, they will find meditation impossible. The human mind just won’t be still. But if, through the practice of that presence of God, an inner stillness is attained, then meditation is very simple. Continue reading Fourth Dimensional Consciousness 4/5
