Spiritual Consciousness (1/4)

Imagine, if you can, what would be the nature of a God that could watch these last three wars through which we’ve gone and do nothing about it.  Just let it go on, aware of it?  Heaven forbid that there should be such a God!  If God had the power to stop these wars – these bombings, the poverty, the slavery in some parts of the world – and didn’t stop it, God would be fiend, not a God; and if God didn’t have the power to stop it, God certainly wouldn’t be a God – one or the other.  If God had the power to stop it and didn’t, it could not be God; if God had the power to stop it, and didn’t, God would be a fiend.  Not even a human parent could watch this carnage and permit it to go on if they could stop it. The Thunder of Silence (5/5)

Thereby, you will impart to others the ability to live and move and have their being as that mind which was also in Christ Jesus, so that they in turn will lift others unto them.
It is in this wise that the Spirit of truth will encircle the globe, and at the right moment will lift this universe out of its seeming physical expression into its eternal, spiritual form. This will not be done by might, nor by power, but by the silence of the word, by the word heard in silence, by the very thunder of that Silence. Continue reading The Thunder of Silence (5/5)

The Thunder Of Silence (4/5)

You will learn as you make this transition into the fourth dimension that the spiritual body is maintained and sustained by the very Christ Spirit that brought it into expression and manifestation, and while you will not see this with your eyes, in that secret inner chamber in your meditation, you will spiritually discern the activity of the Christ about the Father’s business of maintaining and sustaining this body. Continue reading The Thunder Of Silence (4/5)

The Thunder Of Silence (3/5)

It is for this reason that you must not become hypnotized with appearances. By this I mean if you have an abundance of dollars or investments, do not become hypnotized into believing that because of this abundance of dollars and investments, or business that you have found economic security; because history will show you how many times such things have been wiped away. Continue reading The Thunder Of Silence (3/5)

The Thunder of Silence (2/5)

The same Spirit that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead will quicken also your mortal bodies. Do you see what I am trying to say to you—that there is a spirit? There is a spirit in man, there is a divine spark; there is that which we will today call the Christ which will lift you into the fourth dimension of life, that is, into a state of consciousness in which you do not live by your personal efforts, or your personal will, personal wisdom, personal strength, personal health, but in which you find yourself empowered from on High, that is, from the kingdom within your own being. Easter: The Rising Above All Material Ties

That brings us to the Resurrection when, after having died to personal sense and having entombed that false sense of self, our true Self rises out of that tomb of the little self and walks this earth free: free and infinite, immortal and eternal, full of God-being. That is our Easter, our day of ascension, and we find that in our self-renunciation, as in our humility, we have stepped out of a tomb. We are walking the earth now, not full of personal possessions or personal virtues, but filled with the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of the Lord God Almighty which is upon us, and then we are ordained. Now that material sense has been thoroughly quenched, our real nature, our real being, can come to light. Continue reading Easter: The Rising Above All Material Ties

Good Friday: The Crucifixion of Personal Sense

There we see the principle of Good Friday, the principle of the crucifixion of personal sense, a crucifixion of the belief that we of ourselves have qualities of good or quantities of good. But with that crucifixion, comes the resurrection in the realization, “I am nothing, but I can give you all.” Why? Because “the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” Continue reading Good Friday: The Crucifixion of Personal Sense

The “I”within (2/4)

Above all things, from this moment on we must never declare that anything is beyond our ability; we must not accept any sense of limitation; we must not accept the belief that any good is beyond our capacity or reach, or that any heights are too high to attain, for there are no limits to the I which I am after I have made contact with It.  It becomes literally true that I live yet not I; Christ, the infinite, the unlimited, the unbounded, the unfettered lives my life. Continue reading The “I”within (2/4)

The “I” Within (1/4)

As long as we try to direct our thoughts or our actions, the effects will be haphazard – good and bad, successful and unsuccessful. A state of complete quiescence in which there is no thinking or planning must be reached. We must be as completely passive as the piece of ice. Such a state can only be achieved when all desire has been surrendered. Do I know the will of God? Certainly not! My will would be to see everyone instantly healed, but would that result in their awakening to spiritual values, in the opening of the soul? No! I must sit back and wait patiently for the will of God to make Itself known. Continue reading The “I” Within (1/4)

Toward the experience (5/6)

Many persons who are very good students of truth cannot heal because as long as they have only the letter of truth, they are believing it merely with the mind, and since it is the mind that has caused the difficulty, the mind is not going to cure it. The beliefs in the mind cause all the errors; therefore, another belief in the mind is not going to cure them. You must transcend the mind, and when you have transcended the mind all these things that the mind declares or believes in are proved unreal.
