There is no God to punish or reward. God is the divine Being. God is the divine Being that is the same from everlasting to everlasting, that changeth not, that does not give and does not withhold, but always Is. God Is. God does not do; God Is. But we, we set in law, so that if I decide to entertain hate, envy, jealousy, lust, and you hit up against that in my consciousness, you stay away from me, and therefore, I have set in motion my lack. If I maintain in my consciousness a loving of my neighbor as myself, a doing unto others as I would have others do unto me, at least to the highest of my understanding, I set in motion the law of good, and you are attracted to me. Therefore, I cannot blame God if you desert me, and I cannot credit God if you come to me. I can only credit the fact that the law of as ye sow, so shall ye reap, has been set in motion.

The day will come when we will rise above this law and not be subject unto it, but that will only be the day when we have so completely died to our personal selfhood that we no longer do good or evil, and no longer think good or evil, but rather permit ourselves to be instruments through which God appears on earth. When we no longer do good or think good; when we no longer think evil or do evil, but permit ourselves to be instruments or transparencies through which God operates, there will no longer be any good or evil in our life; there will be only spiritual eternality and immortality.
