God Seeks Us (1/5)

The moment we disassociate ourselves from the idea of having to earn or work for our living, and joyfully, and to the best of our ability, do that which is given us to do, even if at the moment it is not in the nature of what we particularly enjoy, gradually we will be lifted into higher and nobler types of work, and we will really find that a living is ours by Grace. Spiritual illumination

Illumination first brings peace, then confidence and assurance; it brings rest from the world’s contests, and then all good flows to us through Grace. We see now that we do not live by acquiring, gaining, or achieving. We live by Grace; we possess all as the gift of God; we do not get our good, because we already have all good. “Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine” Continue reading Spiritual illumination

The Silence (1/5)

The Heart is like a film exposed to light, sensitized to values, dark and bright, to shades of gray, the fugitive and sky, evading capture by the seeking eye. So, go in stillness to the rendezvous with Beauty, listen…she will speak to you in wordless speech. Accept what you have heard and do not limit it by thought or spoken word. Joy is artesian, pulsing, surging, flowing up. Put lips to the Heart’s red curve…its only Cup.” Continue reading The Silence (1/5)

Awakening to Your True Identity

You are aware now that a Presence goes before you to “make the crooked places straight,” or a Presence goes with you and protects you. It may be in your car, driving; it may be anywhere; but all of a sudden you have the assurance, “Fear not! Fear not! I am with you.” You find that it is true, no matter what the danger is, no matter what the discord is, no matter what the misunderstanding is, it passes. The Middle Path / What to demonstrate

The kingdom of God is with you, and it is merely a matter of paying attention to God and knowing that He alone is what you are seeking. In seeking demonstration of person, place or thing, you are ignoring the demonstration of God, but the moment you forget the desire for outer demonstration your attention is centered on the demonstration of the realization of God. Spiritual Consciousness (4/4)

God is infinite divine consciousness; therefore God is your individual consciousness, and this consciousness is the law unto your life.  Don’t try to direct it; be satisfied that it is so and rest in that Word.  God is infinite divine consciousness; therefore God is my consciousness and your consciousness; his consciousness and her consciousness; the consciousness of friend and of foe –universal, divine, omnipresent being, God consciousness – the law unto all creation.  And when you rest in that, It picks you up and transforms the mind, the body, and what is called the outer experience, but which now you learn isn’t outer at all.  It’s all taking place within you. Spiritual Consciousness (3/4)

Back in the earlier days of the aborigines of Australia, you had there with such complete knowledge of mind power that they could bless, but they could also curse and kill, just with the power of their mind.  The Hawaiians had the good Kahunas that could heal; the bad Kahunas who could kill.  There have been sects of people in most parts of the world where there were original natives, primitive people, and all of these knew the power of mind, and how to use it for good or evil.
