Open Out a Way

Today you begin the rebirth. You “die” today. You “die” today to the human being seeking good. You must be reborn of the spirit of God into the realization of good flowing forth through you. Pray? Yes, yes! Pray without ceasing, but do not ask, beseech, or beg God. No, no. Prayer must now be an inner communion with the source of all good. It must not be asking for things; it must be a recognition that at the center of your being there is this invisible vine which has been placed there in the beginning in order that you might be fulfilled. The Last Enemy (3/5)

When people in the ordinary run of human existence die, or pass on, there is only a momentary lapse of consciousness from which they awaken in practically the same degree of mortality or material sense. They have not advanced or been made spiritual through the act of passing on; they have not been released from materiality into spirituality.
