Two Steps To Spiritual Freedom (4/4)

As you begin to see how, here and there a friend, a neighbor, or as I have told you in the school room, proving that disease has no power in the school room, if only the teacher is aware of the truth.  So you will see that you become the power in your community, and there is no reason why anyone can’t be the power in the entire world in proportion . . . and they can; because even though they may not individually be all over the world, they will be imparting by their influence. So that there will be a circle of Christhood around the globe.  And what is the circle of Christhood except a circle of those who realize that evil does not have its rise in God; therefore it has no law, no substance to sustain it?  And abiding in that truth, watch it as it dissolves and disappears. The Circle Of Christhood

There is a circle of Christhood in which we live and walk and through which we receive revelation and inspiration. It was this that enabled me to write that that Circle would be revealed on earth, and it was given to me to travel this world and form that invisible Circle among Infinite Waystudents. But it has spread far beyond that group, because the “unveiling” reveals that this Spirit of God is the Spirit of God unto all men. So the circle of Christhood is to embrace all men. Whether or not they ever become students of The Infinite Way, nevertheless they will be drawn into that Circle. Continue reading The Circle Of Christhood

Grace (1/4)

The secret of Grace is contact with the Infinite Invisible, the universal center of being within you. The earnest seeking of the realization of the kingdom of God, through reading and studying inspirational literature and scripture, and through frequent pondering and meditating of God and God’s creation (leading to actual communion with the Father within) brings to your consciousness the touch of the Christ. Continue reading Grace (1/4)

The Importance of Meditation (4/4)

All prayer or communion with God is for only one purpose—to achieve this sense of peace within; to achieve the realization that “…lo, I am with you always.” Let us have that sense of Divine Presence now and we will have answered prayer. Let us fail to achieve this sense of peace and the prayer is not a prayer. The feeling of the Presence is in itself a prayer. Continue reading The Importance of Meditation (4/4)

The Spiritual Christmas part 2

The world will accept the Christ when the world is sufficiently in need of It: The Hebrews under Pharaoh accepted Moses, but their need was great; the Hebrews under Caesar accepted the Christ, also because their need was great. And so this entire world will accept the Christ when its need becomes great enough. Some evidence of this is becoming apparent because in those countries that have experienced the greatest problems we have found the greatest receptivity and response. Open Out a Way

Today you begin the rebirth. You “die” today. You “die” today to the human being seeking good. You must be reborn of the spirit of God into the realization of good flowing forth through you. Pray? Yes, yes! Pray without ceasing, but do not ask, beseech, or beg God. No, no. Prayer must now be an inner communion with the source of all good. It must not be asking for things; it must be a recognition that at the center of your being there is this invisible vine which has been placed there in the beginning in order that you might be fulfilled. Then your good will appear in the outer realm in whatever form is necessary. Continue reading Open Out a Way

The Tree Of Life (5/5)

Now remember this, the contemplative is never praying for anything, for anybody. The only motive of prayer is to commune with the center of our being, that which we call God. The only object of prayer is to receive, consciously, an inner assurance: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. I am with thee to the end of the world. But remember, if I say those words, they are meaningless and powerless. But if I hear them within, they can raise the dead; they can raise the cripple; they can resurrect; they can renew, restore, regenerate. Continue reading The Tree Of Life (5/5)

Starting The Contemplative Life (1/5)

The reason it makes no difference what their religion may be is, of course, that there is only one God, there is only one Spirit. That Spirit doesn’t know the difference between a Jew or a Gentile; it doesn’t know the difference between a Protestant or a Catholic, an Oriental or an Occidental, or an American Indian. As far as the Spirit is concerned, it is entirely without any religious beliefs, convictions, ceremonies, rights, creeds, or forms of worship. It is an absolutely free and independent Spirit that permeates us just the same as the life of nature permeates a blade of grass, or it permeates an orchid, or a daisy, a violet, and it really doesn’t know the difference. And it makes no difference to it, whether it is a mongrel dog or a full-blooded dog – the same Life animates it; the same Spirit animates it. Continue reading Starting The Contemplative Life (1/5)
