Infinite Way Letter April 1955 By Joel Goldsmith Part 4 of 5 The Price of Truth – continued Based on the Master’s revelation that God is your individual mind, you can understand that there is no limit to your intelligence or your power. Then follow through to the realization that God is your life, and you will understand why you are immortal. As Jesus might have expressed it, “God is Life Eternal.” You must then agree that Life has no ageing process, no changing process, and no death process. In the entire Plan of Life God has not provided one … Continue reading Immortality (4/5)
The reason it makes no difference what their religion may be is, of course, that there is only one God, there is only one Spirit. That Spirit doesn’t know the difference between a Jew or a Gentile; it doesn’t know the difference between a Protestant or a Catholic, an Oriental or an Occidental, or an American Indian. As far as the Spirit is concerned, it is entirely without any religious beliefs, convictions, ceremonies, rights, creeds, or forms of worship. It is an absolutely free and independent Spirit that permeates us just the same as the life of nature permeates a blade of grass, or it permeates an orchid, or a daisy, a violet, and it really doesn’t know the difference. And it makes no difference to it, whether it is a mongrel dog or a full-blooded dog – the same Life animates it; the same Spirit animates it. Continue reading Starting The Contemplative Life (1/5)
We have the opportunity of completely overcoming death in the sense of remaining right here on earth in our present form and in a continuing and progressive appearance of that form.
Overcoming the world begins with our understanding of oneness, of our unity with God, with the realization that, inasmuch as “I can of mine own self do nothing,” all that is pouring through me is the life, the health, and the wholeness which is God. Continue reading The Last Enemy (4/5)
Above all things, from this moment on we must never declare that anything is beyond our ability; we must not accept any sense of limitation; we must not accept the belief that any good is beyond our capacity or reach, or that any heights are too high to attain, for there are no limits to the I which I am after I have made contact with It. It becomes literally true that I live yet not I; Christ, the infinite, the unlimited, the unbounded, the unfettered lives my life. Continue reading The “I”within (2/4)
IW Morsel – Remove the Sense Of Remember that the earth, with material sense removed, is heaven just as a human being with material sense removed, is a spiritual being. A mortal who attains a realization of God’s presence becomes the son of God or an immortal. You are a mortal until the spirit of God dwells in you; then do you become the sons of God. 1959 San Diego Special Class Tape 269 Side 1 The Nature of God By Joel Goldsmith Part 5 of 5 Now, illumination isn’t anything of a material nature or even of an occult nature. Illumination really means light, the receiving of light, and light doesn’t mean light in the physical sense but in the mental. It means understanding, awareness. Therefore, when you are illumined, it means only that you have received the actual experience of knowing God’s presence, knowing God’s grace. There is nothing emotional about it, I can assure you. Those who look for emotional experiences not only miss … Continue reading The Nature Of God (5/5)
