Now, I know how many metaphysicians have used that approach of, “You are spiritual and you are perfect.” Looking at the individual they were saying it to, you could hardly believe it. Or saying, “You ought to be more loving, or you ought to be more just, or you ought to be more something or other,” and then looking at them and saying, “I know you’d like to be if you could be.” What a waste of time to tell you what you ought to be. How do I know all this? Because I know what a waste of time it is to tell me to be different than I am. What I am – I am; and what I was in the past, I was; and telling me that it isn’t so good isn’t going to make me change it. First place, I’ll probably not believe it. Unconditioned Mind – Life (1/5)

But metaphysicians do know this. The metaphysicians of all schools, of all approaches know, and I think the basis of all of them is that there is only one mind, but none of them practice it because when it comes down to actual practice, there is a divine mind, and there is a mortal mind, and a human mind. And while the claim, or the original teaching was that there is one mind, yet always the practitioner looks at your mind to see what’s wrong with you. But actually, it is true that there is only one mind, and that mind is the mind of individual being. It is your mind and my mind. There is only one mind in this room. Spiritual Consciousness (4/4)

God is infinite divine consciousness; therefore God is your individual consciousness, and this consciousness is the law unto your life.  Don’t try to direct it; be satisfied that it is so and rest in that Word.  God is infinite divine consciousness; therefore God is my consciousness and your consciousness; his consciousness and her consciousness; the consciousness of friend and of foe –universal, divine, omnipresent being, God consciousness – the law unto all creation.  And when you rest in that, It picks you up and transforms the mind, the body, and what is called the outer experience, but which now you learn isn’t outer at all.  It’s all taking place within you. Many persons who are very good students of truth cannot heal because as long as they have only the letter of truth, they are believing it merely with the mind, and since it is the mind that has caused the difficulty, the mind is not going to cure it. The beliefs in the mind cause all the errors; therefore, another belief in the mind is not going to cure them. You must transcend the mind, and when you have transcended the mind all these things that the mind declares or believes in are proved unreal.
