The Invisible 5/5

But now you see, from the standpoint of the human mind, isn’t he correct? Isn’t it right that disease is power? Doesn’t the cemeteries all over the world testify to the power of disease in the human mind? Certainly. How can you deny the power of disease in the human mind, where there is a belief in two powers, but look at the miracle. Continue reading The Invisible 5/5

I Am the Way 3/3

Practice this presence of God in you. Practice it, morning, noon and night, under any circumstance and every circumstance. And more especially, those that appear to be evil circumstances; pray the prayer of remembrance. Not a prayer of things I need, or want, or should have. But the prayer of remembrance:
Be not afraid, it is I; be still, and know that I within thee am God.
Thank you. Continue reading I Am the Way 3/3

Contemplative Meditation 4/4

Let us learn to rely more and more on that silence within our own being, and then we’ll have to call for less help. But by now we have a nice group of workers. Many of them have already done some very fine healing work, so that you should be able to find help among yourselves, for yourselves, for each other, and for your work. And it doesn’t mean that I’m getting ready to retire. It means that I’m getting ready for bigger activities. Bigger activities. Continue reading Contemplative Meditation 4/4

What is it to fulfill spiritual law?

How it happens is not the important thing. The important thing to remember is this: death must be overcome. There must be no thought permitted in the mind that someday, at some age death is inevitable. That must never be permitted and one must never permit themselves to think thoughts of joy and pleasure at the experience of going yonder, or whatever the term may be. Let us understand that. This is a spiritual universe and God is the life and soul and mind of our being, and we are eternal and we are immortal. Continue reading What is it to fulfill spiritual law?

Open Out a Way

Today you begin the rebirth. You “die” today. You “die” today to the human being seeking good. You must be reborn of the spirit of God into the realization of good flowing forth through you. Pray? Yes, yes! Pray without ceasing, but do not ask, beseech, or beg God. No, no. Prayer must now be an inner communion with the source of all good. It must not be asking for things; it must be a recognition that at the center of your being there is this invisible vine which has been placed there in the beginning in order that you might be fulfilled. Then your good will appear in the outer realm in whatever form is necessary. Continue reading Open Out a Way

The Tree Of Life (4/5)

And the usual struggle in life is to overcome enemies and try to make friends, but this is not the way of the contemplative. The contemplative knows: “It is I. It is I. This tree is all there is, even if I’m seeing a thousand different branches, it is one tree. It is I, It is I. Be not afraid; it is I. There is not me and another; there is one tree of life. We are all one in that tree, of that tree.” Continue reading The Tree Of Life (4/5)

The Last Enemy (4/5)

We have the opportunity of completely overcoming death in the sense of remaining right here on earth in our present form and in a continuing and progressive appearance of that form.
Overcoming the world begins with our understanding of oneness, of our unity with God, with the realization that, inasmuch as “I can of mine own self do nothing,” all that is pouring through me is the life, the health, and the wholeness which is God. Continue reading The Last Enemy (4/5)

The Last Enemy (1/5)

Everyone is interested in the subject of immortality – immortality here and now, in this body, not merely an immortality to be attained after death. It is in this very body that immortality must be experienced – this very body which we are now using as our instrument. We shall not lose our body, but we will lose our false sense of body and come into the realization of the true nature of body. Continue reading The Last Enemy (1/5)
