” The Initiate”
This week we will start the new series “The Initiate” . In this actual Christmas Edition of it we will use parables as way of expressing the Inexpressible. To let you get the taste of it here some parts we will use in this series.
A PARABLE
As Jesus said in John 10:3-6:
“The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.”."
Jesus spoke this parable to them, but they didn’t understand what he was telling them.”
Parables
Jesus Christ used many parables during his moments of teaching. The Mustard Seed, The Fishing Net, The Sower and more. In the “TAO: The Pathless Path” of Osho he shares one reason to use parables: to come the closest to express the inexpressible. Just like Rumi uses Love poetry as a metaphor, so can parables be used to let you ‘hear’ what is inexpressible to let it be your individual experience. The meaning of the parable can become yours by you coming into the experience of what is shared in the parable. It surely is a journey without distance.

To inspire we will use the Urtext of A Course in Miracles, mainly chapter 15 “The Purpose of Time” from the Textbook. We will use expressions of Master teacher of A Course in Miracles and Expressions of Joel Goldsmith. We will also use parables of Jesus of Nazareth, parables from Lao Tzu and Lieh Tzu brought to us by Osho.
