Then, ills of the flesh began to drop away, and a whole change of nature took place. And so, I discovered that the more and more that I came into an inner meditation or communion with the Spirit of God, the more harmonious my outer life became. Not by might, not by doing anything, not by powers-just by this inner communion with the Spirit. Then I discovered that others came to me and asked for prayers and healing and received it. Now I never once prayed to a God to heal them. In fact, it never entered my mind that this was possible. I merely closed my eyes, went inside until I felt that Spirit move within me, and then discovered that they experienced healing.

Empathy
How direct this is relating to you? Very direct. Empathy is a real ‘value’ in human existence. It is treasured and seen as a high standard of social behavior. Ponder for a moment: What does empathy mean to me and how do I practice it? If you read the above, your idea of what empathy is cannot withstand this. When you ‘feel’ for the pain of someone you meet, you entered into his dream already, confirming mesmerism. Is there then a chance of healing ? No.
To be truly empathetic: Spirit is our only option. Joel says it this way here: “I merely closed my eyes, went inside until I felt that Spirit move within me, and then discovered that they experienced healing“. Whatever you do, don’t try to be empathetic, ask for help. Hand over to Spirit all your ideas, of what healing is, what a relationship is, what empathy means, what love is, what anything means…
