Consider this

Welcome to the 40Days Intensive. Today there is a meeting at noon Central Time USA and you are invited! I like to share this for today:

“The moment you say, that you are Christ, you’ve lost it. It is only when you hear the still small Voice say it that you’re hearing truth. We are trying to immortalize a human being when we say, “I am Christ”; “I am Spirit”; “I am God.” And that’s a lie, you don’t have to look in the mirror to find out that you’re lying. But, when that still Voice says to me, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, even though that person may at the moment appear to be dying or in dire sin: I know that God has spoken to me, and revealed their true identity. And then there must come a healing. 

The ideal way of living, is where you can be in this world but not of it; where you can perform all the functions of your business, art, or profession-and still not be in it. No one should believe that the spiritual life is intended to set them apart in a monastery or convent. The function of the spiritual life is to bring your spiritual influence into this world.

 Yes, go up to the mountaintop for 40 days and nights, and be inspired of God, but then come down into the plains, and by the seaside: and heal the sick, and forgive the sinners, raise the dead, feed the hungry. 

That really is the function of this work, to enable us individually, to rise so high in consciousness, that we recognize God as the central theme of this universe, and all evil, as merely the impersonal belief in two powers, and thereby nothingize it.”
