Teaching and Healing From the Soul 4/4

The mind is at rest the moment it no longer seeks to acquire, to achieve, to accomplish, to change, correct, improve. The mind is at rest the moment it realizes God as the governing influence, the creative Principle, the maintaining and sustaining Principle of Life. The mind is at rest, and it is in this rest that faith comes to fruition. Faith is not an activity of the mind. Faith is found only in the quietness of the mind, in its stillness, in its ability to be at rest. Continue reading Teaching and Healing From the Soul 4/4

The Deep Pool Of Your Being (3/6)

But you can be assured that since God is your individual consciousness, with faithfulness, persistence and perseverance, you can reach the kingdom of God that is within you, and in this contact it flows forth into your experience and takes over your entire life-experience—Mind, Spirit, Soul, body, business, home—undertakings of any nature. Attainment Of the Contemplative Life (4/5)

And so it is you will find that in your Oneness with God, as far as you can see, everything that you can bear witness to is yours by the Grace of God, and without taking it from someone else. But because of its spiritual nature, it is multiplied in the life of every individual who bears witness to this Truth. Continue reading Attainment Of the Contemplative Life (4/5)

Starting The Contemplative Life (2/5)

It is the very first step in attaining an awareness of the presence of God because if you cannot accept this, then you would have to say, “Well, only Jews can have the presence of God,” or “Only Baptists can have the presence of God,” or “Only Buddhists can have the presence of God.” But this is nonsense. The presence of God is within you . . . whoever the “you” may be. Continue reading Starting The Contemplative Life (2/5)

The Silence (3/5)

It is in these periods of silence that the spiritual seed takes root in the prepared or fertile consciousness. As we start every day with a period of silence, we will find that every Word of Truth received into our consciousness either by reading, hearing, or by unfoldment, will spring into spiritual fruitage. It is in this stillness and silence that all of the power of God takes place, and it is then that the real work of our lives is accomplished.
