The Reference
“If God knows our need”—this thought can only come to you if you are thinking of God as something apart from yourself. The reason for emphasizing this is that until you understand that you yourself are this infinite spiritual consciousness, you will not grasp the premise of the great truth: I am the Book of Life.
Spiritual interpretation of Scripture
Joel Goldsmith
Ch 1 from darkness to light
The Introduction
When I read the words of Joel Goldsmith (see above) the words “I Am The Book of Life” resonated deeply with me and inspired me to make a poem and compose some music to support it all. Suddenly it comes to life in me.
The Poem
The Book Of Life
The Book of Life Is what I am
On each page no written word is found
Nevertheless is it complete
It has no flashy cover
No form is present at all
The Book of Life is what I am
Between the pages is no distance
None are numbered
No index is found
No images are seen
The Book of Life is what I am
No history is revealed in it
Neither does it contain prophecies
It is not restricted by time
Non locatable in space
The Book of Life is what I am
No definition or opinion projected
No judgment or blame
No sin, no guilt
No limitation granted
The Book of Life is what I am
No series expected
No special editions offered
Neither is it a bestseller
No idols are involved
The Book of Life is what I am
No main character is found
Neither a plot imagined
No happy ending in sight
No romance dreamt
The Book of Life is what I am
Unique, simple and true
Unlimited soul
United in Creation
Love, Now, Eternally
