Zen: no treasures on earth

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal; But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)

Consider this: Life is Eternal

I am afraid that I am going to have to tell you that what isn’t love is murder. Since the whole basis of this talk is that there is no compromise,
I am going to have to tell you that this world is an attack on reality. It is an absurd attack because obviously the whole mind of God knows nothing about it. Up until this point, you have believed that this so-called existence in time is what life is. This is not Life! How come? Life is eternal. What am I doing here? Shall I answer that for you? You are not here. This is the whole teaching. There is no reality here.
This is the Third Patriarch of Zen. There is no reality here. You are not here. “Yes I am.” No you are not. What you think is you is not created by God and is not real. One thing for sure, what you lay up you are going to treasure and use up and die.
