Spiritual Vision, week 7

Saul of Tarsus, a persecutor of the Christians, was on his way to Damascus to persecute more Christians when he had the experience of beholding the Christ, of actually hearing the voice. That transcendental experience made him a disciple of the Christian teaching, made him a healer, teacher, preacher, and the founder of churches; it had a very practical effect upon his life, but first, before that practicality could be demonstrated, he had to have spiritual vision.

Transcendental experiences

The discovery of the possibility to change your mind about yourself is the start to a transcendental experience. I am not what I think I am. What I am was already set, will always be with me, is eternal. You move from a limited definition of yourself, seeing yourself bound to sickness, pain and lack to the return of you as Present Memory and in full communication with God.

For some the Alternative comes as lightning, like in Paul’s case, some of us have this at a point of death and some of us have this by regularly doing classes, by meditating, listening to tapes, doing daily lessons in some way. The way this transformation takes place is very individual. The process of developing your trust in the Alternative, is why we have these meetings. You don’t walk this path alone.
