Treatment 2/4

Now remember, there’s only one reason you’re not under the law. There is only one reason you’re under divine grace, and that is because of your relationship with God. God is the Father/Mother principle of existence and we are the offspring. We are the divine children of an infinite and an eternal and an immortal Principle, and because of that we are in the world, but not of it. We are under divine grace. Continue reading Treatment 2/4

Treatment 1/4

Removing yourself from the law is a specific act of consciousness which you do daily—you can’t do it once and be free forever. You have to pray without ceasing, and there’s no fooling about that “without ceasing” business, because the moment you stop praying you bring yourself back under the mesmerism of the world, and you come right back under the law again. That is what the Master meant when he said, “Go and sin no more.” Continue reading Treatment 1/4

One Power 1/4

In the metaphysical thought there is another step taken, perhaps a higher step, one in which the individual suffering from these human problems seeks to find a power through which they may overcome or meet these problems of human existence, and thereby turn sickness into health, lack into abundance, war into peace. That means we are in meditation. Now we are not thinking, we are not declaring; we’re just being, being still, being quiet, being peaceful, without even thinking that we’re being still or peaceful or quiet. That’s a meditation, and some day we advance to the next step, which is communion; and in communion, God speaks to us. We don’t speak to God. God speaks to us. Communion is our deepest, deepest sense of contemplation and meditation. Communion is contemplation and meditation taken to the furthest degree, in which all thought is stilled, and God begins to reveal Itself in our innermost being; and then we don’t remind ourselves of God’s goodness. God just tells us about it. Continue reading 60B – Contemplation, Meditation 4/4

60B – Contemplation, Meditation 3/4

Why God is my very—I have no fears now, I have no doubts, I don’t have to reach out for God—God is both the father and the son. God the Father, God the son. God is my very being. I don’t have to pray to God. I don’t have to ask God or affirm to God, only acknowledge, just acknowledge: God is my being. Wherever I go, God goes with me. Continue reading 60B – Contemplation, Meditation 3/4

60B – Contemplation, Meditation 1/4

Just think for a moment of planting a seed in the ground and instead of turning away and forgetting it, now let’s keep looking right down into the ground; and very soon you will see the seed break open. Now, the seed didn’t break open of its own accord. Something acted upon it, and we call that a law of nature. We could just as well call it a law of God or the law which is God, but an invisible something acted upon that seed and broke it open. Continue reading 60B – Contemplation, Meditation 1/4
