Discover Inspiration Through Arts: Join the InSpirit Series

Starting this Wednesday, the 2nd of April 2025, is the InSpirit series. This is a new series in which we use the arts and art-expressions in a different way. To discover a new inspiration. To let us be inspired. In-spirited. To discover the LIFE within and let that move us.

THE BRIDGE

Jesus in A Course in Miracles - inspires: 
My chosen receiving and sending channels cannot fail, because I will lend them MY strength as long as theirs is wanting. I will go with you to the Holy One, and through MY perception HE can bridge the little gap. Your gratitude to each OTHER is the only gift I want. I will bring it to God for you, knowing that to know your brother IS to know God.               (chapter 4)

If this would be an art course, then we would stay on the level of considering ideas, philosophies, etc. This is not what the occurrence of Inspirit is. Specific insights of the artists we can read about above, is nothing but a start. First for you to learn to look lovingly on your brother. Secondly to recognize the way they see, what they discovered, relating that to our own experience “and then”…

This “and then”part is the interesting part. The part that will give our ‘project’ meaning.

The human approach to (art) subjects or discoveries will be to look at it, to consider it and develop an opinion about it. All this has nothing to do with what we will let come to us.

CONSIDER THIS

What is shared as information about the artists is coming from a brother you can consider as your best friend
He or she is sharing with you in relationship to set you free of misconceptions
The encounter with this ‘artist’ is a holy encounter, in your highest interest
The liberating possibilities you offer to everyone is inspired and not based on past ideas
The inspiration flows through you and uses your hands, your tongue, your eyes, your ears and will tell you anything you need to know

The Practice

In the upcoming meetings as well as your own practice when you ‘do’ the assignments the following:
Inspiration comes from within, received by a quiet mind
Take time to still your mind before you do anything (5-10 minutes)
See all activities as prayerful activities, as a way of meditation
Let this time be free of your concerns, fears,etc.
Ask for guidance how that can be accomplished
