The “Transition Doula” or 'death doula' could be described as a non-medical professional who provides guidance to person’s in a “transition” in consciousness. Whether this is a transition to a non-physical plane or transitions during awakening experiences (as in relinquishment of the ego-misidentification).
Transition to a non-physical plane one could call casting off the physical form, physical death and transitioning into a different level of experience in consciousness. Transitions during the awakening could be called “dark night of the soul” or dying daily and transitioning into a different level of experience as ascension or resurrection.
Transitions in Consciousness
In this series of classes we explore the idea of death and transition in a different and expanded way. The “Transition Doula” is the one familiar with transitions in consciousness. This has of course to do with your own experience with death and loss of loved ones and your healing experience/process that came with it. How can you give to one in transition? How can you give to yourself?
