There may come a time when the Christ is raised so high in our consciousness that the little "I" disappears. But if it has ever happened in history, we have no record of it. We know that the personal sense of "I" was present with Jesus when he was preaching against the officials of the church, the money changers, those in high places, those who demanded animal worship or animal sacrifice. We know that the personal sense of "I" was there when he said to the disciples, "Could ye not remain awake with me one hour, pray with me?"

Disappearance of the little “I”
Joel Goldsmith share this line above: There may come a time when the Christ is raised so high in our consciousness that the little “I” disappears. But if it has ever happened in history, we have no record of it.
How about the disappearance of the little “I” right now!!
The release of self-identity opens your consciousness to the experience of rebirth and resurrection.
Joel denies here the possibility of the miracle and even resurrection. When you enter into a moment of Communion, where is the little “I”, it dissolves. Otherwise I could not experience the direct communication. It is a requirement. The miracle is the shift into invisibility, where is the little “I”? It disappears, it is gone. Joel says: ..we have no record of it. Right, if it disappears what would be the use of recording anything, it would be the denial of the occurrence.
The resurrection is the surmounting of death. To a human being that is impossible. In reality it is the only natural occurrence. Happy Easter!!
