Is there a selfhood apart from God? No. Is there a selfhood then that can have a demonstration to make? No. No, and who is responsible for all demonstrations? God. God is responsible for all demonstrations and any failure would be God’s failure. And actually God has never failed, but we, through our false teachings have failed to perceive that we are spiritual beings. That we are children of God. That we are heirs of God, joint-heirs with Christ in God to all of the heavenly riches.

And it’s true. That is, you look out through human eyes and you can’t find proof of this. That is why the things of God are foolishness with man. You have to have spiritual vision to discern that the kingdom of God is intact here and now, and then watch it as it comes out into manifestation.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised that it is on this point that we lose our demonstration. The very point of wondering when they are going to take place, if they are going to take place, if we have enough understanding, or if the practitioner has enough understanding, or if there is enough time left. There is where we lose our demonstration since there is no demonstration to make.And our recognition of the great truth that we have no demonstration to make is what we call the healing Christ.

Jesus said, “What did hinder you, pick up your bed and walk.” In other words, in spite of the appearances, he did not acknowledge that paralysis could stop a person from walking. And in the recognition that paralysis could have no power, he demonstrated paralysis has no power; and so with us.

The point is in the degree of our realization of what we are doing. If you can train yourself never to have a desire to help or heal anyone—you’ll be the best healer there is on earth.

If you can have a state of consciousness that would refuse to affirm or deny—you’ll be the best healer on earth. If you can look through every appearance as if it didn’t exist—you’ll be the best healer on earth because that is the healing consciousness—that these appearances are not power so I don’t have to do anything about them.

If you can bring yourself to that state of consciousness, you’ll have patients, you’ll have students, you’ll have centers, you’ll have anything in heaven’s name that you want because that is the only consciousness—Christ consciousness that heals.

You’ll find in the writings it defines Christ consciousness as your individual consciousness when you no longer hate, fear, or love error in any form. When you no longer hate it or fear it that is Christ consciousness. When you can say to Pilate in any form,Thou could have no power over me unless it came from God. When you no longer hate it or fear it and can look right through it—then is when Christ consciousness is developed.
